We are pleased to announce that Glen Anderson, PE, has been named President of ETC Group. Glen’s appointment came in the midst of the challenges with COVID 19. Since the announcement in September 2020, Glen’s leadership has been instrumental in leading the company in a direction that continues to align with our core values and focus.

Glen brings to the position a wealth of knowledge and decades of experience in the energy efficiency sector. Glen has more than 27 years of industry leadership experience, including more than 18 years with ETC Group, serving as Vice President of ETC Group over the past 12 years. Glen holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia and is a registered Professional Engineer in Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado. Under Glen’s leadership, ETC Group has grown to over 50 employees of Engineers, Commissioning Agents, and Software Programmers, etc. In his tenure with ETC, Glen has provided services to thousands of facilities all over the world (new and existing) to reduce building energy waste, to reduce operational costs, and to create healthy and comfortable environments to occupants.

This past year, Glen was named an honoree for the 2020 E+E 100 (Environment and Energy Leader 100). In 2017, Glen was awarded AEE’s Regional Energy Engineer of the Year. As a vocal proponent of energy efficiency and energy management, Glen supports various non-profit national and local energy efficiency organizations including Utah Clean Energy, the Southwest Energy Efficiency Project (SWEEP) and the Utah Governor’s Energy Summit. Glen is also serving on the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) Board of Directors.
