ETC Group’s Arizona branch has been selected as one of the Phoenix Business Journal‘s 2020 Best Places to Work in the micro-sized category. Close to 95% of Arizona office employees have participated in a third party survey in the category of excellent moral, engagement and retention.

This award is an affirmation of our culture of putting our employees first and of our mission of making a difference by delivering innovative, efficient, and sustainable energy solutions. Bryan Lang, PE, ETC Group’s Arizona Engineering Manager commented, “what we do is creatively and technically demanding. It requires a lot of effort, experience, and brain power. People enjoying the company of their peers and leaning on each other for assistance in all these areas helps us all grow individually and together to provide great products and services to our customers.”

Supportive leadership and the ‘open door’ policy are directly connected to ETC’s inclusive and flexible company culture. Greg Jimmie, Energy Engineer/Analyst, says, “ETC’s leadership encourages communication and values employee input. It is unique to work for a company that utilizes employee strengths to optimize skillsets and develop individual roles. Additionally, our teams are able to leverage one another’s differing expertise to hone in our own knowledge base and adapt our offerings to many sectors.”

The competitive award program honors more than 100 companies in Phoenix among hundreds of nominations received this year. The virtual event took place on Tuesday, December 8th. With 2020 being a WILD year, this year’s award theme was “Wild West.” Read more about the awards and other Phoenix’s best companies to work, visit here.
