ETC Group is commissioning the Rice-Eccles Stadium South End Zone Renovation – designed to enhance the current stadium to become comparable with the best Division 1 and PAC-12 facilities. The new expansion will bring stadium capacity to 50,000+ and provide premium amenities for fans.

The LEED facility will house the Ute’s and visiting team locker rooms, as well as premium suites, a rooftop restaurant, and 5,000 more seats for Utes fans with a new team store. It also allows the fans access to more concessions and the ability to walk around the stadium.

Behind the scenes, the building is designed to meet energy efficiency and carbon reductions goals of the University. The all-electric design features a well-water cooled heat pump chiller and resultant hot water heating system.
