Technical Energy Audits and Analysis
Energy audits identify building and system components and characterize energy
use through utility billing analysis and equipment and system performance
analysis. Audits may entail measurements, monitoring or simulation and modeling.
Typically audits will identify specific energy efficiency measures but may
simply provide a benchmark for energy management activities.
Technical analysis generally refers to detailed cost benefit analysis of
potential capital improvement projects either aimed at improving energy
efficiency or where efficiency improvements may be available through
modifications to capital projects undertaken for other reasons.
Typical applications and experience:
- Commercial and institutional buildings
- Central heating and cooling plants
- Industrial facilities and processes
- Ski Resorts
